235/366: Dance of Solitude
This lone tree does a dance of solitude with the wind coming off of Lake Grapevine. She moves, she flaps, she dances with every beat of the breeze. Sometimes it is a lonely dance, while other times it is soul searching and pure ecstasy. Finding the rhythm of life each moment, each day… until the dance of solitude seems to no longer to exist.
Photo taken on Lake Grapevine at Murrell Park this past weekend. I loved the composition of the tree which appears to be flying in the sky, alone, along with the rock formation coming up from the water and taking the viewers eye directly to the tree. The sky appears to have movement due to the long exposure technique used in capturing the photograph. Taken with my Nikon D810 and Lee Filters CP and Big Stopper for an exposure time of 10 seconds at f/11, ISO 100 – 14mm.
