199/366: Fields of Gold
Fields of gold as far as the eye can see just South of Chama New Mexico. I saw this beautiful field of golden yellow wildflowers on our way out to Colorado a few weeks ago and had to stop to capture the beauty before my eyes. As far as the eye could see the fields were covered in golden wildflowers, you can see the dynamic size of the landscape by locating the farm houses towards to horizon of the photograph. The mountains start to fill in a bit towards to background and the sky was a brilliant blue with scattered white puffy clouds to add depth and dimension to the photograph. If you close your eyes you can almost feel the wind in your face and the floral smell of the golden wildflowers.
The photo was taken with my Nikon D810 and my Lee Filters Circular Polarizer at 14mm.
