7/365: See Me Raw
See me raw, before you destroyed me, and now my tamed wilderness is outside your backdoor. You make me who you want me to be, changing me to fit your concrete cities. Having no respect for my power and grace – you leave trash and traces of you behind.
Take a minute and imagine… hiking in the wilderness on a snowy winter day and coming across this beautiful creek filled with large stones and boulders. Imagine drinking from the water to refresh your breath as you adventured across the wild, exploring new places and discovering never before seen beauty.
If we keep treating mother nature as we do, we will soon lose our ability to discover and explore, to be in balance with one’s self and feel at peace.
