Passion

What other choice do we have? Passion is the source of our finest moments. The joy of love… the clarity of hatred… and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion maybe we’d know some kind of peace… but we would be hollow… Empty rooms shuttered and dank. Without passion we’d be truly dead.”
To find someone whom can bring out the passion in one is unique. The fire, creativity, the sensitivity as it runs thru your bones… the heat and trauma, the daydreaming and lost empires, the need and urge. Passion comes as quickly as it is lost.
Lasso the snow

Texas is experiencing show this week. But today the snow seems to be drifting a bit to the south of the DFW area. When this was told to Josh, I asked him to Lasso the snow up North so we could have some. He explained:

What’s in a Thanksgiving

thanksgiving is one of the holidays i hold the most close to my heart. the memories that come along with Thanksgiving are at times overwhelming. i love the fact that i get to continue to create memories each year and build on a wonderful foundation of memories that brings tears to my eyes.
Thanksgiving – a time to give Thanks for what we have, a time to spend with family and friends, a time to look around and realize how blessed we really are with all God has given us and continues to give us on a daily, even hourly, basis.
Every Thanksgiving I search further inside of myself and realize there is so much more to be thankful for. Thank you to all who have helped bless my family in such an amazing way.

Black Friday

I’m ready for the Third Annual Neth Black Friday shopping day. For the past 2 years my mother and I have ventured out on Black Friday and face the crowds and enjoy the discounts and some special mother/daughter time together.

Autism Speaks 2009 Walk Now – Nov 14

My family is participating in the 2009 DFW Walk Now for Autism. Would you like to join us? Would you like to donate?
As some of you know Joshua was recently diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism.

I am walking in the fight against autism at Walk Now for Autism, joining tens of thousands of other people united by a single cause and dedicated to raising money to find a cure and build awareness for autism.
